Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival

Horror games have explored haunted houses, abandoned hospitals, and zombie outbreaks, but Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival is heading somewhere far more disturbing.

Built around the iconic Hellraiser universe, the game follows Aidan as he ventures into the Labyrinth to rescue his girlfriend from Pinhead and the Cenobites. Instead of relying solely on traditional weapons, players will also wield the mysterious Genesis Configuration, using supernatural abilities like telekinesis to solve puzzles, manipulate the environment, and survive brutal encounters.

Saber Interactive has spent more than four years developing the game alongside Clive Barker himself, with original Pinhead actor Doug Bradley returning to the role. The developer says the goal isn't simply to create another horror game, but to faithfully capture the unsettling atmosphere, psychological horror, and grotesque imagery that made the films so memorable.

From what we've seen so far, exploration, environmental puzzles, resource management, and tense first-person combat all play a major role. The game appears to strike a balance between survival horror and action without sacrificing the disturbing tone Hellraiser fans expect.
