EA Sports has been slowly revealing early information about NHL 27, and one of this year’s biggest changes is a complete overhaul of the game’s presentation. Launching on September 11 for PlayStation 5, NHL 27 introduces unique arena atmospheres for all 32 NHL teams, making every home venue feel more authentic than ever before.
Some of the new features include:
- Unique arena presentation for every NHL team.
- Authentic goal songs and pre-game introductions.
- A new dynamic crowd system that reacts to the action on the ice.
- An all-new broadcast package with updated visuals.
- New commentary team featuring John Buccigross and Darren Pang.
- Connected Franchise, an online league supporting up to 32 human-controlled teams.
San Jose Sharks star Macklin Celebrini will grace the cover of NHL 27, becoming the youngest player ever to appear on the cover of an EA Sports NHL game.
